A trip back in time to the Colne Valley Museum

Our members were treated to a visit back in time where we discovered what life was like in about 1840 when the cottages were inhabited by families of handloom weavers.

Our members thoroughly enjoyed the volunteers, in contemporary costume, demonstrating various crafts including spinning, weaving and clogging, and will explained what life was like in the cottages.
